The Huawei Nova 17 series gets a 200-megapixel camera sensor
The Huawei Nova 17 series is already in an advanced testing stage, before it shows up in the official market launch, and yes, the imaging system is seeing a bunch of changes.
With these new models, the Chinese tech company is trying to shrink the distance between mid range devices and the flagship class… by bringing in ultra high resolution imaging tech and smarter editing tools , kind of like a more “ careful” assistant for photos.
Display Specifications and Expected Upgrades in the Huawei Nova 17 Series
So, the well-known leaker "SmartPikachu" apparently posted on Weibo that the Huawei Nova 17 series will land with different screen sizes, you know, the basic model will have a relatively smaller display, and then the more high-end versions will end up with larger ones. Also, Huawei is said to be testing brand new components, both for the front camera setup and the rear camera systems, aiming to boost the whole image quality and keep more subtle detail. On top of that, these phones are rumored to come with special photo editing and processing tools that run on artificial intelligence, which sounds kind of like a neat upgrade if it works as expected.
Camera and Lens Specifications for Upcoming Phones
Some leaks are pointing to the Huawei Nova 17 series, it looks like there will be a beefed up 200 megapixel primary rear sensor, and in many ways it might be the very same advanced sensor that showed up in the flagship Mate 90 series.
There should also be updates on the front side, like improvements to the multispectral camera, which is the part that does color calibration, plus a dedicated telephoto lens that is aimed at selfies. Overall this goes beyond what the Nova 16 Pro and Nova 16 Ultra were packing. Those models launched back in June, and they came with a 200 megapixel rear camera (f/1.8 aperture), a 50 megapixel wide-angle lens, a 50 megapixel telephoto lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 3.7x zoom, and finally a 50 megapixel selfie camera.
